Welcome to Jim's Local Investment wiki

This concept for this site is to record thoughts and concepts from myself and others on

"innovative" local investment themes.  This can include: local currencies such as

the Salt Spring Dollars, barter currencies, granting programs, lending programs and

other existing or new forms of currency exchange or investment.  Initiative for this site was

fostered by some of the thoughts of Catherine Austen Fitts on Solari Circles and

the importance of local investment and the very creative global micro-loan program

supported by Kiva.
